AS PER CIC APPLICATION GUIDE... THEY ARE DEMANDING AT LEAST 6 MONTHS VALIDITY DEMAND DRAFT IN CAD DOLLARS FOR APPLICATION FEES........

BUT HERE IN INDIA.....As per RBI guidelines, with effect from April 1, 2012, the validity period of Cheques, Demand Drafts, Pay Orders and Banker's Cheques will be reduced from 6 months to 3 months, from the date of issue of the instrument.....

SO.......PLEASE ADVICE....
ANY ONE FROM INDIA, WHO CLEARED THIS PHASE....

My ecas was updated between Saturday and this morning. It probably might be during the weekend, it states - " MEDICALS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED".
Endeavour to check your ecas for good news. I hope every1 receive one form of good news or another this week.

Hello,
I am Gaurav. Presently i am working as mechanical design engineer with one of mining equipment manufacturer in Sudbury, Ontario. My employer had received positive LMO 4 months ago for position in which i am working & on the basis of it i was issued a work permit about one month ago. I just wanted to know if i am allowed to apply for PR under PNP category for the same position. My employer is willing to apply for pre screen application form for that position. I have also heard that PNP category is subjected to annual cap of 500 applications per year & mechanical design engineer (NOC:2132) are not eligible to apply under PNP category in ontario. Could you please let me know if those constraints applies to me? Thanks very much in anticipation of your reply.

I just heard back from my local MPs offcie today morning. I am told that Ottawa is waiting for my fingerprinting report and that is why I havent heard back from them. I sent my RCMP fingerprints in July and have records for it. I also tried emailing them asking for a confirmation a month later... No reply. I will try doing that again today. But what can I do if they dont respond to our communication? I could try sending it all over again and hope that they will receive it.

My advice to guys who havent yet called their MPs or asked for GCMS notes... please do and dont assume.

I just heard back from my local MPs offcie today morning. I am told that Ottawa is waiting for my fingerprinting report and that is why I havent heard back from them. I sent my RCMP fingerprints in July and have records for it. I also tried emailing them asking for a confirmation a month later... No reply. I will try doing that again today. But what can I do if they dont respond to our communication? I could try sending it all over again and hope that they will receive it.

My advice to guys who havent yet called their MPs or asked for GCMS notes... please do and dont assume.

I sent it to CPP-Ottawa on July 18th 2012 by ExpressPost.
The tracking number shows that it was delivered on July 19th 2012

I had also emailed Ottawa asking them to acknowledge the receipt of the document on Aug 15th 2012. But no reply! I sent scanned copies and the ExpressPost stub as proof of delivery to them today via email. Hope they respond.

The tracking number shows that it was delivered on July 19th 2012

I had also emailed Ottawa asking them to acknowledge the receipt of the document on Aug 15th 2012. But no reply! I sent scanned copies and the ExpressPost stub as proof of delivery to them today via email. Hope they respond.

Yes man,,untill we get PPR in hand , its all uncertainty....

They won't disclose to MP unless you give consent to MP.
when you reach your MP, you have to fill the form and sign ...with out that MP can't get your details..
