I'm currently in Canada with my son (who was born here - found out I was pregnant after arriving) as a Foreign worker for 3 years. I have already submitted my PR application with a PNP approval and I got a reply from the CIC office processing my papers that we would need to go for medicals as well as to provide an updated PCC from Dubai for my husband. My husband and I have only been married for 6 mos prior to me arriving here and he has not even seen his son in person. Our marriage is strained by the distance and sad to say that our communication with each other is non-existent. I am the principal applicant and when I submitted our PR papers, I have included my spouse 2009 PCC from Dubai and I advised my spouse to get an updated one for which he kept postponing. The email that I received states that I would need to submit the documents with 60 days. I called my spouse to follow up and was told that he is not able to obtain one. He left dubai in 2009 for the purpose of vacation and did not come back. The company filed an absconding case for him. I am stressed out because he is not cooperating with me to contact his office and kept giving me a brush off. At this late stage I am scared to withdraw his application fearing refusal or delay in my application. If my spouse is unable to provide a PCC from Dubai, will this affect my application and that of my son? What are my options?
