Please help in finding application number for paper based application

Hello ,

I had applied for visitor visa on 12 April. I got my dispatch mail yesterday and now i want to know my decision. While trying to connect paper based application to online I am not able to find my application number. Is it same as of VFS application tracking ID or different one.

Please help

no VFS tracking ID is different. there would be a number like V000000000

I gave my biometrics along with my application
oh okay! You'll get an acknowledgment email on your registered email address, saying your file has been submitted, that will have Application number and UCI

On 12 April
Visa application, tracking ID No. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has been dispatched to the OC from VAC , on 2019-04-12 07:19:49 PM GMT Standard Time for processing.

And today
Visa application tracking I'd xxxxxxxxxxxx Π Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, on 2019-04-24 10:21:27 AM GMT Standard Time and is on transit to the Canada Visa Application Centre in CVO-NEW DELHI.

Congratulations your application is approved.

These are generic message! And they do not say anything about your filing. You will get an email soon like the one I pasted above that means your file has reached IRCC Delhi. That's when your processing would start. VFS is nothing just a connection between you and IRCC. IRCC is what will make the decision for you.

These are generic message! And they do not say anything about your filing. You will get an email soon like the one I pasted above that means your file has reached IRCC Delhi. That's when your processing would start. VFS is nothing just a connection between you and IRCC. IRCC is what will make the decision for you.
Please read the entire message a decision has already been made. Where have I said or led anyone to believe that decision are made by VFS. There are different kind of generic messages you just have to know how to read between the lines.

Please read the entire message a decision has already been made. Where have I said or led anyone to believe that decision are made by VFS. There are different kind of generic messages you just have to know how to read between the lines.
