Planning to get Married and add spouse later

Hello All,

I have submitted my application on 3rd September 2013. I am planning to get married on or before April 2014. If i add my spouse thereafter,

Q) By how much time will my application be delayed ?. (Assuming 11 months as average time for PR processing).

Hi Anil,
It all depends on the processing timelines after 10 months, I do not think September applications will be started processing before July 2014. If you get married in April 2014, you can fill the updated forms and send along with your spouse's DOB certificate, marriage certificate and PCC to CIC in April/May 2014. Probably there won't be much delay, just 1 or 2 months.
