Mga sis, take it from me, i didnt take the review seriously. mga scores ko sa practice test 5 or 5.5 sa reading or listening..lagi lagi. Di ako nag practice sa speaking kasi di ako dumating sa schedule ng review center namin. Sa writing, di ko follow ang format sa sobrang kampante na kaya ko mag english.

Di ko sinasabi na maging lax tayo sa review, pero ang point ko lang, wag tayo kabahan kasi sa totoong exam, di naman sia ganoon kahirap talaga. Continue lang ang practice, enjoy while you review. Pagdating sa exams, do your best lang talaga. Kelangan wala siado problema iniisip para mataas ang listening score.

Meron naman nag sasabi, mas madali daw IELTS sa Canada. Mas madali daw ang CELBAN kaysa IELTS.

Bring a jacket kasi malamig ang aircon ng hotel ( Depende sa proctor kasi minsan they allow, minsan they dont. At least may jacket ka just in case u need it. Mahirap mag answer na nanginginig ka. Di ako nag dala jacket, so kinausap ko pa ang waiter na taasan ang temp, hehe).

Katatawag ko lang sa SRNA (Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Asso), mga 20 minutes ang explanation nya...eto ang mga sinasabi nya, I really hope this can help talaga. I think same rule apply sa ibang nursing bodies sa Canada.

Sabi nya ganito:

1. Your IELTS exam score is good. You can submit your complete documents and payment for assessment so that we can start assessing your papers. About your writing score of 6.5, I can't guarantee you that it can be considered even if your band score is higher than required.

2. The problem about filipino nurses, they keep on submitting their applications/documents even if they didnt meet the requirements, thats why it takes a long time before we can decide on their applications. Most of the time, if they dont meet the requirements, we dont touch their applications.

3. If your requirements are complete, we can assess your papers faster. We will communicate with PRC right away. Then you are eligible to take the exams.

4. In filling-up the forms. BE HONEST WITH EVERYTHING YOU WRITE THERE because we contact the school and your previous employers for confirmation. (Pa ulit ulit emphasis na BE HONEST. Marmi siguro na pinoy na nag sisinungaling sa applications..hahaha)

5. When you fill up the form, WRITE THE ADDRESS AND INFORMATIONS CLEARLY AND COMPLETELY.

6. Pay the fee so that we can start processing your papers.

7. Sabi ko, "All my documents are complete already. All I'm waiting is my IELTS result. I already requested a document from PRC and they told me, they are the one who will send the request directly to SRNA. So, since my writing score is still questionable, what will happen to my documents passed by PRC to your office?"

Sabi nya " We will file your application, put it in a folder and keep it for you while you are fixing your IELTS. Once everything is complete, your documents are complete, pay the assessment and we will process your papers right away, we will never touch your application when no payment is made".

...andami nya sinasabi, antok na kasi ako that time kasi gabi sa atin...umaga sa kanila

Sabi ko, "Why are some applications take a year or 2 years before they are assessed?"

Sabi nya " Because some informations are not clear, missing or dishonest. Some didn't meet the requirements."





....so far, yun lang ang latest mga sis. hehehe.

mga sis gusto ko na rin itake ang IELTS ko pero im not that prepared kasi sabi nila masmahirap na raw ang reading ngyon and also listening... if my visa will come earlier than my target exam date then i won't be able to take the exam here. My husband had let me go review to kill the time of waiting... mejo depress na kasi ako dito sa bahay kakahintay... ok naman yung review sched ko kasi i can come home before lunch to have a little talk to my husband then balik nanaman for the afternoon...walking distance lang kasi... Since Canadian po yung asawa ko mejo we are expecting for now na matatagalan pa ung visa because most of the couples here na nagkakavisa are both Filipinos. We are not concluding pero parang ganon ang trend eh and we understand if embassy is like that to avoid marriage fraud, kaya yun, though we are hopeful and positive parin naman...

Hi prayer sword, buti nga nakakaattend ka, ako gang listening to cds, reading, talking to myself infront of a mirror and writing. My friend took the exam last january unfortunately she didnt pass the speaking category so she has to review again maybe makakasabay ko sya sa apr 21- tentative lang yan sis. Take muna daw ako kht minsan dito if swertehin dito vwry good pra les stres pagdating don (hopfully makarating haha) sna pantay pantay nlng processing di ung pag both fil eh mas mabilis, paunahan na ngayon eh pansin ko trend, ewan ba nakakalungkot lng kc may mga iba juky aug sept ect wla pa mga visa imagine that samantalang ung iba late pa nagsubmit papers eh nagkavisa! Nakakasakit ng bangs! Anyway, sna maging ok lahat papers natin ng mksama na natin partners natin and sana maging successful tau don sa profesion natin sis. Sarap lng mangarap

SORRY HUH ONTARIO KASI AKO I DONT KNOW IF THE SAME ANG PROCESSING.. DITO KASI DAPAT PR KA O CITIZEN PARA MAGING ELIGIBLE KA SA ASSESSMENT.. GINAWA NG HUBBY KO SINABI NYA NA PR NA AKO SA CANADA EVEN THOUGH HINDI PA.. IT TOOK MY PAPERS TO BE ASSESSED 8 MONTHS.. FOR ASSESSMENT MUNA TITIGNAN NILA IF YUNG MGA SUBJCTS NATIN SA PINAS IS EQUIVALENT SA SUBJECTS NILA DITO THEN SILA MAG SASABI IF ELIGIBLE KA NA TO WRITE OR KELANGAN MO PA NG UNITS.. AKO KASI RPN LANG PINA ASSESS KO.. PAG RN I THING MALAKING PONTS TO NA MAGING ELIGIBLE KA IF MAY EXPERIENCE KA IN CLINICAL SETTING, NAG WORK KA.. AND IF MAY MASTERS DEGREE KA..

Oh ganon ba, sna ok na ung 1 yr hosp experience ko haha. Did they require u a hosp experience for RPN assessment mo?

Mga sis, please help me decide. I think I need to fix my writing score here. Its useless passing it to SRNA hoping they will consider it. It would be more stressful to think they may or may not consider it. I might as well fix it now that I still have much time.

I read there in IDP, I can pay 7000 pesos to make the australia IDP main office recheck my writing exam. If they were wrong in giving me that score, they will give me a higher score and refund my payment. But if they are right, goodbye 7000 pesos and ill get the same score.

If I will take it again in March 10, here in Bacolod, I dont know when the deadline for submission of registration will be. Much more, I am not anymore sure if I can get same scores for writing, speaking and reading again. This is really stressful. hehehe.

Usually, kelan ba yung deadline ng registration? Im done with my review center. So, I think Ill do the processing myself this time.

Oh ganon ba, sna ok na ung 1 yr hosp experience ko haha. Did they require u a hosp experience for RPN assessment mo?

sa assessment form kasi may page dun for experience, eh nung time na yun wala pa akong experience at volunteer lang ako saka lang ako nag ka work nitong jan 2011 lang.. sinama ko yung work experience ko sa re assess ng records ko for RN...

Sis ano ung BCN program? Could u give us a little detail about your app for carna? How was celban? Is it 10x les toxic than ielts? Haha!

Antataas pa namn na scores mo pinaynurse! Kung ako naman cguro yan at 7k for the fee pagrecheck sa writing mo cguro il retake nalng cguro syang naman un pag same score pa din bye bye 7k.

@ praywr sword. Im not sure aboit this na kc but how long will u have to retake the test ulit ba? Pwd ba monthly take or it takes 3mos before u can sit in again? Im a little confused o baka sa nclex yata un... Correct me if im wrong sis thank u !

Di ko maicompare sa IELTS kasi wala ako experience in taking that test, I find CELBAN easier kasi related sa nursing. Dito ka na ba sa Canada?

Thanks mistletoes. BCN- Bridge to Canadian Nursing sis, ni-require ako ng few courses ng CARNA after ng SEC (Substantially Equiavalent Competencies) Assessment. Same din sa ibang province, they will start opening your application pag meron ka passing scores sa IELTS or CELBAN. Oo nga daw sa nursing lang topo atleat yan masasagot na natin kc yan naman forte naten, unlike ielts sis kung ano ano ewan hahaha, i past my oelts nong 2005 and nagamit ko nman sa application ko for US pro not pushinh through na kc si hubby jan naman. Sang school ka sis? San sa alberta ka? Edm hubby ko. Sis matanong ko lang 2nd course mo ba nsg? Ilang mos before naasses papers mo? How is SEC ba? Pano ba una non sis..submit rqmnts sa carna? Tpos san papasok si SEC? Tska ung sa prog na kukunin mo un ung mga subj na wla ka sa subj description nila? Tama ba? Mali haha

Same kau niece ko sa hubby,sa mru din sya kaso nahihiya me magtatanong k busy din ung bata. January 2010 yata sya nag start tpos patapos na sya this apr yata. Sabi nga nya it takes 8-12mos na dw ngayon assessement dhl sa bulk na din cguro aplicant ur lucky kc 3 mos natapos assess sau.Anyway, ilang yrs of
