hahaha. ako din sis. 2000, grad ako 1st course. 2005 grad ako 2nd course. 2010 grad ako nursing. nang pumasa ako, nag IVT ako ako. pag katapos ng IVT, nag review nclex. kasi gusto ko talaga mag nurse sa US. then nag asawa ako, na taga canada din...so, nag bayad lang ako sa US for eligibility, 150 dollars ata yun, hanggang june 2012 pa ang deadline ng dapat ipa register ko...di ko tinapos ang nclex rvw kasi nag asawa muna ako, then since parang canada na destination ko....nag decide ako mag ielts muna...after ielts, wait ko ang visa ko. ewan sis, parang gusto ko pa rin kumuha ng nclex talaga. ewan sis, parang gusto ko talaga ang US eh. hehehehe. watyathink?hehe

Then go take the test may eligibility ka na, nclex is less harder than ielts haha obviously kc inaral natin isasagot natin don eh. Just take it? What BON did u apply? Im NC licensed, if sakali makapunta canada hubby wants to try NC too kaso takot sa hurricane sa snow nkang dw kami lol. Im thinking kc abt our assessment that takes time sa canada, while when i pursue my NC il get paid as rn na...anyway ok lng bsta impt kasama asawa bahala na si batgirl. Mag exam ka na sis. Pero sympre pagdating natin canada wla bearing ung license natin sa US hehe..hays kakasakit loob tinake ko na lahat test pati CG tpos sa canada pla ako nyahahaha but im hoping makaland Tayo don hehe

Im NC licensed, if sakali makapunta canada hubby wants to try NC too kaso takot sa hurricane sa snow nkang dw kami lol. hi!! nag pa assess muna ako ng school records ko.. then after the assessment ang result ready to write na ako for RPN...

hmm that's good option din noh... mg RPN muna... paano kaya ako mkakaapply sa alberta... my idea ka ba? so how was your exam and the process was it long and hard?

ontario kasi ako so im not sure paano sa alberta.. ill write my exam this coming may pa.. based on feedbacks mahirap daw.. pwede ka naman direct rn.. mahal lang kasi pa assess dito kya rpn muna..

Listening : 8.5
Reading : 6.5
Writing : 6.5
Speaking : 7.5

Overall score : 7.5

The Saskatchewan Registration Nurses Association requires me to have:

Listening : 7.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking : 7.0

Overall Score: 7.0

Im so happy that I really got a really good score...really good enough. Its ACAD, more difficult than General Exam. Ielts now is much more difficult than before. My problem now is my writing coz its 6.5 though my band score is 7.5. Will I retake everything again? The U.S only requires 6.0 or 6.5. I have more than enough score. If I have to retake it again.....oh my. The SRNA will never consider that, right?

buti ka pa nakahinga ka na sa IELTS! I just don't know kung iconsider nila ung .5 difference sa writing mo po. Tips naman jan ng writing and speaking, pati na rin listening! I am reviewing right now sa review center and im suppose to take it ng march 10 pero inassess ko sarili ko di ko pa kaya sa next na idp exam nalang april 12 kung andito pa ako. dito ako sa ILoilo nag take. Tips??? hiya ako mag tips...6.5 lang writing ko. (hiya...hehe).

sa listening...practice makes perfect talaga. as in listen carefully..and focus. meron yan time na sinasabi, YOU HAVE 2 MINUTES TO REVIEW YOUR ANSWERS....di ko na review kasi, wala naman ako magawa kung mali answer ko, ginawa ko...binabasa ko ang succeeding questions, para may idea ako kung ano itatanong na susunod para matandaan ko kung ano dapat ko pakinggan mabuti. pero, dapat talaga pag sinabi nya, start to answer, kinig ka mabuti. understand the story, it helps.

sa speaking, NEVER PRESSURE YOURSELF, JUST ENJOY. the more na nervous, the more na di tayo makapagsalita. be talkative and have fun. Dont be conscious syado sa grammar para di mahalata, sa case ko kasi, parang may smile smile and tawa tawa pa ako. parang nag casual na kwentuhan.

sa reading...dito ako talaga pinaka palpak, ever since. ginawa ko, sa question, meron yan WORD na makikita mo sa story. circle mo sia...then ang answer is usually in the sentence before that word or after that word tamad kasi ako mag basa.

sa writing, feeling ko may technique jan...parang meron sila format to follow. hindi ko nga ma gets bakit ganun score ko, kasi feeling ko, okay naman yun. hehehehe. as in lahat na inaral ko binuhos ko lahat sa essay, yun pa din score ko...hahaha. so, i guess meron talaga sila hinahanap. sa essay ko kasi, dami ko na erase....cguro, advisable kung mas konti erasure, mas okay.

PRAY..PRAY...PRAY...nag rosary ako before ng speaking exam ko. hehehe. it helps kasi parang napaka easy ng question ko. WHAT IS YOUR GOAL IN LIFE, WHAT WILL YOU DO TO REACH THAT GOAL, IS IT POSSIBLE TO REACH THAT GOAL..etc..WHATS YOUR ROOM LOOKS LIKE, WHAT DO U THINK IS THE GOAL OF YOUR GOVERNMENT IN YOUR COUNTRY, LONGTERM OR SHORT TERM...what do u do during your sparetime??? so parang may divine intervention talaga.

same thing din ginawa ko during the writing exam day. POWER OF PRAYERS talaga. God bless sa atin.

Problema ko nga ang .5 ko sa writing. Bahala na. At least I know how it works na.
Tatawag nga ako sa monday sa SRNA ko check.
