Hi everyone! Hindi ako mapakali nung nakita ko sa ECAS na Decision Made na ang status so I called CIC and they said I was approved as a sponsor last Jan 10 and they sent my husband's application to CEM na that same day. God is really good to us. Naunahan pa namin ung ibang November applicant. Sana lahat na po kayo makatanggap na rin ng SA! We'll include y'all in my prayers. Sana din mapabilis sa CEM ang PPR nya. I heard this is the longest waiting part. But it is never the same. Like us Dec 3 nareceive ng CIC ang application namin pero we got approved Jan 10. Sa website nakalagay Nov 7 pa lang sila ngaun. So hnd din po accurate ung mga processing time and hnd pareparehas ng case. Just keep on praying and hoping baka mapabilis din batch natin sa CEM. If u need anything, I'll be happy to help.

thanks for the encouragement! one applicant from the November batch received an SA just this Jan. 16. I'm thankful dahil at least may progress na din sa November batch. Will also include everyone in our prayers for a speedy processing.

Good Day sa lahat i would like to ask if in all forms in the application should i use my maiden name or my married name?.?My passport is still my maiden name..I cant change it since my marriage certificate is not yet released..Thanks and hope someone can help me..

Maiden name ginamit ko kasi nakalagay sa form as shown in ur passport. Wala naman daw problema un. Dto kasi sa Canada, hnd porket kinasal ka, automatic na married name ang gamit mo. It's ur choice kung gagamitin mo last name ng husband mo or hyphenated or no change.


Update lang din... Ang mga nabibigyan na ng PPR ngayon ay yung mga naapprove nung mid-September. Bumibilis na po ang process sa CEM. Thank God! Just keep on praying everyone! We'll soon be with our loved-ones.

Hi! Sent my husband's application on Nov 29, 2012 and today December 11, 2012 I received an email from CIC stating that they received it on Dec 3rd and they also included the UCI# and Application No in the email. I checked it on their website but the system still can't recognize it. Maybe it's too early. I will try again tomorrow. I hope I will find other December applicants here so we can update and help each other.

I'm a December 2012 applicant too! I hope makajoin me s thread na to. December 7 narecieved ung application namin and December 21 SA n c hubby. Til now waiting pa rin kmi. Don't lose hope guys!

Maiden name ginamit ko kasi nakalagay sa form as shown in ur passport. Wala naman daw problema un. Dto kasi sa Canada, hnd porket kinasal ka, automatic na married name ang gamit mo. It's ur choice kung gagamitin mo last name ng husband mo or hyphenated or no change.

Syempre po. Spousal sponsorship po is for married couples.

Iba po ung spouse sa conjugal partner and common-law. Nakalagay po sa website ng cic. Lahat po un under Family Class Sponsorship

Ask ko lang kung marami na nakakuha ng visa for those December applicants kasi June pa ako nag send ng passport at hanggang ngayon ala pa rin info about my visa.

HI!

CFO-sticker (from Commission on Filipinos Overseas) is an additional requirement if your partner/spouse is a canadian citizen... if not PDOS lang po... At the airport po kasi the Bureau of Immigration counter will check if you have this sticker in your passport if not they will not allow you to board your plane/flight.

helo po,, need po b tlga mag attend ng seminar s cfo, here is my situation, When i renewed my passport I used the surname of my canadian husband, so when my husband(sponsor) submitted our application of course I used his surname, My question is that since I don't have that sticker stamped on my passport do i still need to attend CFO or just PDOs.. Sorry I am too excited since our apps still waiting for our SA... just want to gather important things that I can use in the future,, thanks po

Hi,If your husband is a canadian citizen need mo talaga mag attend ng seminar sa CFO to get a Guidance and Counselling Cert. kasi its 1 of the requirement para ma register mo passport mo. Hindi ka iallow ng immigration sa airport na umalis if wala sticker ang passport ..But since narenew mo na PP mo and nasubmit niyo na apps nyo, you can wait till you get your visa and COPR before ka mag punta sa CFO
