I’m feeling quite worried and hoping someone here has gone through something similar.
I received the IRCC PR portal (P1) email. I am the principal applicant, but I applied using a representative, so the email was sent to them. They forwarded me a PDF copy of the IRCC email along with the IRCC email address.
The instructions say to reply to that email with the requested information. However, instead of replying to the original thread, I sent all my information in a new email directly to the IRCC address.
In that email, I included all required details (UCI, full name, email, etc.), so my application should be identifiable. Subject line included my Uci and application number.
My questions are:

- Has anyone done this before and had no issues?
- Will IRCC still be able to match my response to my application?
- Should I ask my representative to forward me the original email so I can resend everything as a reply to that thread, just to be safe?
