Photo Requirements on Document Checklist for applicant

Section 13 of the document checklist asks for five recent photos for each member of the family and herself (my wife). Myself, (the husband and sponsor) and our two sons are all Canadian citizens, and are obviously not applying for PR...are photos of us required too?
