As per today result just 15 to 20 % candidates have passed Jan 2013 EE EXAM.This is a very dangerous scenario, Many students who appeared multiple times have failed, if 80% of International Pharmacist are going to be failed, then it is matter of grave concern, are these Pharmacist not real Pharmacists, otherwise exam has been made extra ordinary difficult, in fact latter possibility is correct, Even students who have given up their jobs, and studied whole of year, and made preparation from CPR, Misbah and on line institutes were failed, so there is need to raise voice against making an examination very very difficult which should be a just confirmatory type of test , actually has been made so difficult that 80% of International Pharmacists are unable to pass that, More over pattern of exam has made it more difficult such as due to presence of 100 unmarked questions, it is very difficult to get required percentage.
More over asking questions which do not have any relation with the routine function and working of Pharmacy and even registered Canadian Pharmacist do not have any such knowledge,
Therefore instead of wasting chances and money we all should raise voice against a very worst scenario with reference to very low passing percentage of International Pharmacist in this exam.

Dear,

I didn't get your point clearly.. what went wrong ? how come only 15-20% of candidates pass. As to my knowledge, only the qualifying exam is a very difficult one which needs hard work. Please clear for me our concern to discuss more.

As per result just 15 to 25% candidates were able to pass the examinations, its means 100 students who registered about 80 were either unable to give exam or were unable to pass exam. This is a horrible figure.
My two friends who were fresh M.PHARM and Ph.D failed in recent exam,My three friends who were qualified Pharmacists in Australia, USA and one friend who worked as Pharmacy Technician in Canada for many years failed in exam even after preparation of more than one year through on line institutes and bridging programs in Canada.

Although it is claimed as Confirmatory type of exam, its structure and pattern is more wide and complicated, and answers are very close and confusing, and each question due to 5 options is equivalent to 5 questions. due to which 80% students are unable to pass this exam.

The first Purpose of this topic is to alert to International Pharmacist not to rush this exam and pay its fees till the time you are able to take 80 to 90% marks in exam because due to presence of 100 unmark questions in exam its requirement of 60% automatically change to 75% and to pass the exam one must have confidence to take 80 to 90% marks in exam.
Second purpose of this topic is to raise voice and persuade PEBC not to make this exam so much difficult that 80 to 90 % candidates are unable to pass this exam, with loss of money as well as hurting their motivation in the initial and first stage of their immigration to Canada, specially when they are in great need of help and motivation. and need level playing field and some support in initial stage of start of their professional life in a new country.
There is also need to persuade PEBC to provide exact percentage of the marks obtained in the test instead of providing the feed back in ambiguous group of 25 % Candidates.

Canada has a very, very high standard it demands of all it's health workers.

It has been proven, time and time again, that qualifications from other Countries are far inferior to Canadian qualifications. This applies to almost all occupations as well.

This post proves just that.

Time to re-evaluate your professional status and see if you measure up to the high standards of Canada.

Pharmacy Evolution exam is having much more wide scope and difficult as compared to Qualifying exam.
and therefore it is very essential for International Pharmacist to understand this thing because a large number of International Pharmacists have lost all their 3 and plus 4th conditional exam chance without success.

Most of the Pharmacies in Canada are being managed by International Pharmacists, and in most of the cities there are no School and Faculty of Pharmacy, so there is no relation of standard of health system with Pharmacy Evolution Examination in which more than 80% candidates are failing, and even those who were registered in other countries like U.K,USA and Australia, so there is need to raise voice about this situation and to alert new immigrants who are unaware about this. One can not imagine the pain and misery of a Pharmacist when he is required to go through a registration process spread on years and even then in the last step he or she is denied as a Pharmacist.

If you believe that, then you really do not know much about Canada....

I have seen Pharmacist failing in this Examination whose knowledge was many times more perfect than the teachers of teaching and bridging Pharmacy Programs and registered and working Pharmacist in Canada, so only by this we can imagine difficult nature of this exam and how any one can term this exam just as a confirmatory exam of Pharmacy Education.
More over percentage of Passing students is persistently not going above 15 to 20% of total candidates enrolled in the exam, which also point out to the perception that there is policy of just to declare pass top 20 % candidates and declare all other fail regardless of their percentage and marks obtained that is why they are not informing about marks obtained by candidates, which will open whole pandora box , so instead of informing candidates about their marks obtained,PEBC is providing Feed back in groups, by making four groups each containing 25% of all 100 %failed candidates as F0, F1, F2, and F3.
It is very strange that on one side it is claimed that one who will obtained 60% marks will pass this exam, while on other side feed back and result is provided in the ambiguous form of group i.e F0, F1,F2, and F3, without any information about exact percentage or actual marks obtained by Candidates, what is the reason for not informing actual marks and provision of feedback in ambiguous groups is a mystery and strange.

Another hurdle in the preparation of this Exam is that not a single Canadian book is present for the preparation of this PEBC exam while CPR is an American Book for Naplex, and preparation from Misbah book often result in failure in exam, while the scope of this exam is crossing the limit of Pharmacy Education by addition of Canadian Laws and Economics study.

Dear Khalidi, real purpose of this topic is to alert pharmacists who rush to this very difficult exam and in result suffer, blueprintpharmacy data looks just game of numbers and has no relation with facts.

Foreign trained veterinarian licensing exams are much harder more time consuming than pharmacist license exams. just be positive and prepare well. other healthcare medical professionals are also struggling and working hard to license.

Many qualified Engineers,Doctors and Pharmacist are doing very menial jobs, it is the responsibility of every one to raise voice against this, forcing them to do low grade job can be avoided at the time of immigration, immigration process take number of months why these people are not examined at that time and why such barriers in the end.

If PEBC want to keep content and Questions secrets, then atleast PEBC Should provide correct options of Question like a,b,c,d,e,f and copy of marked options by Candidates to maintain transparency and competency of exam.

I know this is an old topic, but it comes up on Google as one of the first results for certain searches, and is probably causing a lot of anxiety to people, for what seems to be no reason.

This person posting the topic has posted NO SOURCE for his information, can't spell "evaluation" correctly and does not seem to be very credible.

Please do not let this topic stress you out, while this exam does require extensive preparation I am sure all of the topic starters posts are exaggerations.

Good luck to everyone taking the exam.
