Yeah! I currently reside in Ethiopia. The VAC I think is in Nairobi for me, but didn't heard from them after they get my biometrics! Any guess how long that might take?
But when was the last day of class? You mentioned you received completion letter Jan 27 but what was indicated as your last day of class in completion letter?
No such thing mentioned in the letter. I defended my thesis within Canada March 27, 2020 and left Canada afterwards. I worked two semesters online from outside of Canada after without a study permit.
So you received completion letter Jan 27 and defended your thesis March 27, and worked two semesters from outside online. I think your timeline make it difficult to understand your situation….the fact that completion letter doest have exact date may make it difficult for VO to calculate “within 180days” requirement to apply
I admit that it could be a bit tricky for the officer. I have send in a case specific enquiry to add in a LOE to my application although I don't see the letter in my account yet. I get the completion letter January this year but defended the thesis March last year. There were minor corrections to be done afterwards. The pandemic didn't make it easy. Once the thesis got final approval (with the added correction), the school issued the completion letter. I then applied within 180 days.
