My friend has 2 post graduate diplomas, 8 months each. Related to digital marketing and business marketing. Currently on study permit till December 24. Second diploma Integrated study so September 24 to December 24 doing internship. Can he apply before 1st November 24 for pgwp? The purpose to raise this query is because post 1st November 24, work permit will be issued only to those whose occupations are aligned to "In Demand Occupations list". After that it looks like applying for work permit for these study permit holders stand no chance. Request members to reply to it.

Since transcripts for second diploma will be issued after completion of Integrated Internship ie December 24, is it advisable to apply immediately ie before 1st November 24, using first diploma (all documents are ready). At least he'll get 1 year work permit for this one year study. Also since it takes 100 plus days to process pgwp application, his application can be updated whenever he receives transcripts for second course which he is likely to get in next 2 months.

No. When did he graduate from first program? If he applies then IRCC will only count the first program for PGWP, not second. Cannot add another program once applied.
