Hi everyone,
I just submitted my IMM 5710 application for my Post Graduate Work Permit and realized I made a mistake in the background information section.
Specifically, for Question 2c ("Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?"), I accidentally omitted the details of my previous study permit. I mentioned my previous applications for visitor visa to canada and usa (which were rejected) i though they were asking about previous applications and as I was already in Canada, I forgot that "previous" also means study permit.
However, I did list that same Study Permit's document number in the "Coming to Canada" section (Question 4), where it asks for the most recent document number. So, the information is technically on the form, just not in the background history section.
What I have done to fix it:I immediately raised an IRCC Webform.

- I uploaded a Letter of Explanation (LOE) admitting the oversight and providing the full details (dates, institution, outcome) to correct the record.
- I also attached a copy of the actual Study Permit document as proof.
- I did not upload a new/corrected IMM 5710 form, just the LOE and the permit copy.
