Keep positive and keep yourself busy,there is a great bunch of people on here that will help you the best they can.
Im a seasonal worker i was finished in April i dont go back till Sept i had to go get a job i was going crazy.

In the application forms for the permanent resident there is a form for the medicals,she is to take it to the doctor with more photos i think 3 passport photos as they attach them to the results.
The embasssy should be able to tell her where the approved doctor is in her area and she can get them done asap, and she will get a copy she needs to forward those copies to the visa office.The visa office once they get your application will give your lawyer a B file number make sure you use that number on anything you send to the visa office to insure it gets in your file.
