I landed at Windsor on May 12 and put a friend's address for the Permanent Card to be mailed to.
I linked the application no. to my CIC account and it says approved with start and expiry date info. It says submitted date May 18. I'm still in the US but expecting the PR card to arrive in the mail at friend's place in Canada.
Its 56 days (business days) now but the card is not received.
My 2 questions are:
1. I tried calling CIC 613-944-4000 but there is no option to check status for PR card, is there any option to do so? If yes pl help me get it
2. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do Here when I use my info it doesnt give me any info when I select PR card no. . My card no. starts with R and has 9 digits after it whereas the help file says it starts with RA0, should I add RA0 +9 digits and then check ? I tried that but still no luck.
