Hello,
I received my PR 8 months ago through the PEQ Program after finishing my studies in quebec for my Master degree, and I'm currently living and working in Quebec for 4 years now ( 16 months studies and the rest working). However, I have recently received a job offer in BC which has a better salary (60% salary bump) and matches my interests, and the company is a well known company and would be a plus in my résumé.
I'm considering to accept this job but I will have to relocate to BC. I have also checked with the company if it's feasible to work remotely from Quebec/Ontario but unfortunately that's not an option. I'm currently worried that if I leave Quebec at this stage, I may get into trouble with IRCC when applying for citizenship. Is this a valid concern given that during our application to PR I signed a letter to express my intention to live in Quebec?
