I applied for UK visa last summer and I had an invitation letter from my uncle with his signature, his passport copy and he sent me his bank statement as a proof of funds

Thanks for the reply. I just want to know how do they ascertain if the sponsor is really an aunt or any relative for that matter. Does the cousin of her father count as an aunt. How can her aunt or she for that matter provide relationship evidence?

as far as i know, it all depends on the invitation letters and if they have given invitation letters before or not.
 
I got 3 year business visitor visa and my family got refused children and my wife i no happy and totall time my application is 2 months i applied on 2nd july and got today my visa and strange is this i applied immigration already before 5 years and i got visa God thanks

i dont have pr my family reason was visit only i applied skilled worker application before 5 years still i am in queue but i got visa
 
Allhamdolilla, My parents got their multiple entry visa valid till 2016. Here is the timeline

Applied for Multiple Visitor Visa : April 22, 2012
Medical Received : July 24, 2012 (Passports were returned with medical with an explanation that if applicant does not want to go through medical than they can keep the passports or return passports immediately if they are willing to go through medical
Passports Returned: August 28, 2012
Medicals Done : August 1, 2012
Medicals Sent to New Delhi: August 8, 2012
Multiple Entry Visa Received: September 8, 2012

Few tips which may help other applications

Show ties to Pakistan. Property, Job, etc
Have good balance and Bank History
Invitation letter should be accompanied by sponsor's bank statement and a letter from bank if possible
Job letter or Business incorporation letter of sponsor
