Hbushra - Proposed length of stay was 3 weeks.

JSingh: I showed around over $10,000. There was no issue about funds.

They checked on only one reason and that is family ties. Apparently the VO thinks I will not return back because my wife lives in Canada. I have a very sound job here been working for the last 3 years, good financial status. They think just because our parents live here we will not return back for them (thats so absurd).

I am sure he would have checked my travel history he/she saw I already got visas for canada TWICE lol. I have talked to a lawyer and he told me to apply for single entry, they are normally very strict in giving multiple cuz they have over 1-2 yrs validity and they think a visitor would over-stay the actual 6 months stay.

I will apply again in May. Will keep you all posted. My wife mean while will be getting a letter of recommendation from a member of parliament so hopefully that will make my case more strong.

I am holding back on it for time being we have got a lawyer in Toronto who will be preparing all the documents for me. My wife will be sending me a recommendation letter from the MP as well and then I will apply again. Probably later this month or maybe next month. I have been busy with work and wife plans to come visit me so I could care less about visiting canada just now.

I applied for my Wife's TRV to visit me in Canada on Feb. 23 throug Fedex. Although no call for interview received but on May 4, 2012 she got her passport and all the supporting documents back through Fedex. SHE GOT THE VISA.... :p

I told her that she is one of the luckiest persons who are given visa for Canada (she has not travelled abroad single time in her life till now, our joint account in Pakistan was showing only Rs. 65,000 (almost CAD650.00), she is a house wife, she does not work but she was a student of AIOU for her graduation, and top of that her sponsorship case is already in the que at CHC Islamabad). If someone wana see details how to file the TRV application correctly, please see my reply to a post named TRV for Spouse in this forum. Hopefully it will benefit all those who are applying for TRV.

Thanks lonely, tho I wud seriously care less about visiting Canada if they don't want to give visa then its their own prerogative. I have lived in Canada for over 5 years really not fond of the place had a genuine case of visiting family. I haven't even applied for PR when i could have but not interested. Visa is not a big deal will get it one way or the other in time.

currently its taking 35-40 Working days so atleast 2 months. You should be able to get the visa. The amount you have showed seems fine - and if you think you have strong enough ties to pakistan then it shouldn't be any problem.

Most refusals are because of ties to your home country so if your family lives here and you are working then it shouldnt a problem. Good luck keep us posted with your progress.

TOO late bro - they will decline it they wont even open ur application by the date you are supposed to be in canada . After atleast 35-40 working days they open your submitted document package and then they take 1-2 days to either give you a visa or not... everything else is just formality
