We have the money together and are wondering when is it possible to send in the money? Do we need to wait for our application to be sent in? Is there a way to get a case number etc.
Why do you say that, iarblue? Do you think paying far in advance really holds weight? They don't say anything about it, I'm sure if it was an issue, CIC would have addressed that with an expiration like they do other things (medical, police clearance, required photos, etc.)iarblue said:Royal Bank seems to be the best bank to pay the fees, they seem to know exactly what they are doing. But you can pay it at any bank.I wouldnt pay it too far in advance to your app though.A few weeks a month maybe a few months i wouldnt.
my hubby paid the day before he mailed the application and we got through in a month as well. the best thing will be to pay the full fee so they don't have to request it later on.britincanada said:I paid for mine On 10th May 2010 and CPC-M received my application on 1st June 2010..My Husband was approved on 29th June 2010..I believe it may have helped to have paid the fees before we applied!
Are you talking about the RPRF? For the first fee, the required fee(s), you have to pay in advance. You have to mail your receipt, copy 2 with your application. Therefore the receipt would not get lost because they haven't recieved it until they recieve the application. But I don't know, I think maybe we miscommunicated somehow.iarblue said:Well they have lost enough things in the past from other posters so i just think sending in a payment too far in advance and a recipt just sitting in a file cabinet with no file to past it with??In the immigration website you will see under how to apply....first it says fill in the app then pay the fee then send it all in.
But who am i to say when you should pay your fees i just wouldnt send them too far in advance but thats me.
