Passports to CPC Ottawa- Oct 2017

I got the email for ready for Visa (PPR) 10-Oct-2017 and asked to submit the passport.

1) I have India Passport but currently I am residing in USA on Work Permit. Email says to submit the passport to CPC-Ottawa along with 2 photos and return label. But I am not sure, If I should post it across the borders. As passport last page, says no to post the passport out of any country. Not able to understand as to what should be done in this case.

2) I got the photographs clicked for e-APR submission in September. Can I use the same photo, but with the specifications mentioned at : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf . It's not been more than 1.5 months that I got them clicked. I can use the same photo with the new dimensions mentioned or need to click a new photograph again.

Any help is appreciated.

Just get new photo just to make sure they will not accept it anyway photos for ppr are cheap

And about your sitiuation in your present residency if you apply in India make sure to update CIC if you are going to other country or else its a big mess

just called CIC this morning 30 minutes waiting time agent said my passport still in their mailing room need to wait a little before sending to print

Does anybody know what CPC email address can be used to inquire about the receipt of passport please?

Courier Passport Delivered Date: 10th October
CPC Passport Received by Agent Date: N/A
CPC Approved and Visa Stamped Date: 14th October
COPR Received: 17th October

I'm CEC Inland, and sent passport copies since I am from a visa free country.

LANDING EXPERIENCE

RFP: August 31 2017
Passport sent : September 4th
Passport received: September 5th
Approved in CIC: October 10th
Passports received: October 12th
Landed : October 17th.

Landed at 1000 island bridge.
We drove to US side. They took mine and my husband's passports and asked us to park.
An office took they keys and guided us towards the office.

US border agency officer asked, why did we came to the US, and we shared that we want to land in Canada. He gave us a white paper which states refused to enter.

We turned around and gone to Canada side, where immigration officer asked us if we have food, pets etc. in the car....and let us go.
we parked behind the CBSA building and went to the immigration desk.
The immigration officer was friendly and did the procedure in 10 minutes and congratulated us.

This was fairly easy than what I have thought.
