Passports to CPC Ottawa- July 2017

I got a reply from CPC Ottawa after I sent the new label saying that my PP will be shipped. And it did two hours later, finally.

PPR July 6
PP sent July 8
PP delivered July 10
Decision Made Approved July 31
Label correction email from CPC August 8
Replied with new PDF label August 8
CPC confirming shipping date August 9
PP shipped/tracker activated August 9

Guys, I just want to know if there is any delay of stamping passport specifically for PNP inlanders. I have waited 205 days to get my PPR, and I can't wait another month to get my passport back.

I can relate to how you feeling!! I have been through the same. But we dont really have any option other than simply waiting. My passport was delivered on July 19 and there is absolutely no update since then, its been 3 weeks already. I just hope I get my passport back by next Wednesday when I'll hit 1 month since passport delivery.

Hi, I don't think the delay is any stream specific. It's just the backlog for all streams.

It depends...I have been waiting for 31 days and tracking number is not activated yet.

I got PPR on 17th,July 2017
Passport was sent to OTTAWA on 18th July,2017
Delivered 19th July 2017

I'm still waiting for the reply and I've some travel plans to some other country and I have to apply for travel visa and book my tickets
So I've Contacted CIC over phone .

Connected to agent with in 20min. All my info was taken to confirm my identity and she told that it should usually take 2 weeks to process visa stamping. First she was saying that passport was delivered on 27th July and its in queue for printing. I said that it was delivered on 19th July and said I've a screen shot of it.I was also asked for my from Canada post tracking number . So she did take a note of our conversation and told that she will email the Processing center in Ottawa about my urgency.

She also suggested that some action will be taken with in 24-48 hours
Hopefully I will hear something by end of this week.

You are on the right way...it can takes more than 5 times...last time I spent an hour to get connected...and after that another hour to get available agent...just keep doing that.

By the way my application was approved on August 1 ( an agent said it), but status changed on August 2.

I am still waiting too.

Hi Guys,

My application was just approved after 30 days since passport was delivered.

Can I make an appointment for inland landing now or do I have to wait for my passport and COPR to be delivered to me?

Hi sea83, May I ask what the label correction was all about??

My recommendation is to print the entire PDF file when you create return label. I think I missed commercial invoice and two other pages.
