Good News...
I guess they will send the PP back all together as a bunch.
Most probably our return tracking number (ppl sent their PP last week) will be activated at the same time .. Keep in touch.

Just checked MyCic: application updated but once I checked, everything looked the same.
When I "returned to previous page", it shows approved - however not closed.

As far as I understand, if you are from a country that requires a visa to enter Canada, you need an electronic authorization to travel..

Sometimes it takes 24 hours to update. So check tomorrow.

Yes. However, you can only enter Canada before your get the PR card by road from the US. They will only ask you for your Passport, visa and COPR. If you plan to travel from a commercial passenger carrier, you will have to apply for a Travel Document, which will be valid for only a single entry.

As of March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents are not eligible to apply for an eTA.

However, from March 15, 2016 until fall 2016, travellers who do not have an eTA can board their flight, as long as they have appropriate travel documents, such as a valid passport. During this time, border services officers can let travellers arriving without an eTA into the country, as long as they meet the other requirements to enter Canada.

I am not sure of the size, but I used the one which can fit Letter size papers easily without being folded.

At the same time I have a valid work permit and a TRV. Would that be enough to re-enter Canada without applying for PR travel document?

My passport reached Ottawa on 7-April , today the application status was approved and closed, hope the return mail will be activated soon.

Someone else has the same case, so I guess they do things in groups.

My application was approved two days ago and my return envelope is also the Xpress post from Canada Mail. It has not yet been activated. Not sure what is going on.

It seems like CIC love to keep people waiting at every stage.
