PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA in April 2016

You should expect an email on Monday. It seems to take them about 2 business days to reply. We got a reply to an email we sent on Wednesday (May 4th 2015) morning (EST) this morning (May 6th 2015).

I used Xpresspost, same happened with me while sending the passports. I sent the passports to Ottawa on 26th April. So, when i was checking on Canada post App, it kept on showing 'Accepted at Local Canada Post' till 28th April morning. Then around 7am, it just directly changed to 'Out for delivery'. Then in 1 hour , it started showing 'Delivered'.

Also, if you are using canada post App on your phone to track the number then you won't see expected delivery date. Exactly same happened with me. When i went online canada post full site and tracked the # then there it was expected delivery.

Received COPR on May 4!

Timeline:
PPR April 20
Passports/Pictures sent April 20
Tracker activated on April 29

I live in Toronto, so I called CIC to book an appt at the CIC office in Etobicoke. They emailed me the next day that my husband and I have an appt on May 13.

Question, in the document sent with COPR, they mention having to bring 2 photos. With the COPR, they attached the 2 photos that we submitted on April 20 with passports. Do we need extras or are those 2 pictures all they need?

My wife and I have been long time lurkers in this forum. This (forum) has been immensely helpful.

We applied for Canadian immigration via EE and FSW. Our application has been approved and closed. We're US residents, and sent our passports to CPC Ottawa (the address for US residents) through UPS. We included a return envelope (next day delivery) with our passports.

Now, the problem is, we haven't received our passports back yet. We emailed CPC-Ottawa. They indicated that our passports were sent back to us on the 28th of April. Today is the 6th of May. UPS has no record of receiving a package.

Is there any way at all to call CPC-Ottawa? I have not been able to find a phone number.

TL;DR - CPC-Ottawa claims via email that passports were sent out, but no UPS record of shipping.

Our tracker was activated yesterday, so, all is well (hopefully).

MY PASSPORT reached in Ottawa in 27th, until May 7th today,still nothing changed in CIC, i thought usually passport will be back in 2 weeks, right now almost 2 weeks ,even cic has not been updated yed ,anything know what happened

Hello Everyone!

Suggestion needed. I just got PPR. The problem is that I have my CFA exam on June 4, 2016 for which I need the passport (no exception or no other ID accepted). What do you guys recommend? Should I send the passport because if I wait I will be on the borderline of 30 days limit. From this forum it seems like on average it takes not more than 2 weeks.
