Passports to Accra Visa Office !

My application was updated last week Wednesday, I sent them a mail to ask if my passport is ready for pickup and the response was that it’s still in transit and transit takes 5-7 working days. Is this normal please?

I got the same response; as my application was approved on Thursday last week. i sent a mail on Monday and got this feedback yesterday, via mail.

I got the email a day after it was already approved.

Okay. A friend got the 'in process' mail this morning and she got an update in the evening. Hopefully you'll get an update tomorrow. But if your travel date is really close, I don't think its a bad idea to send another mail to Accra with your ticket attached.
Also, I have a relative who submitted on Dec 18th and is yet to get an update. He got the ''in process' mail this evening. In other words, Accra is still working on passports submitted mid-december. You'll get an update soon.

Any suggestion on what to write in the email?

Is that the final message? It may not have gotten to VAC. By Friday it'll be the 7th working day, send them another email on that day if you've not gotten the PUM yet with a screen shot of your VFS tracker.

Hi. Please did u submit through Lagos or Abuja? I'm getting really worried now. Accra replied a mail that's it's in process but still nothing. Sent my passports since 17th of December. I'm getting really worked up. Have a trip at the end of this month

I submitted through Lagos vfs on the 28th December. I think you should call them. So sorry for the late response.

Thanks a lot everyone. Finally got application updated/approved this evening. Now to wait till it lands vfs. Literally got 7 days to get it back. Have a flight next weekend. Hopefully they are quick enough to bring it back.

Again thanks all... that's 6 weeks timeline just to get approved counting from 17th Dec. Whew

Congrats. If your flight is next week, as soon as your tracker shows dispatched to VAC, email VFS and tell them you need to know if/when your Passport arrived because you have a flight booked. You can attach proof.

Submitted passport at VFS Lagos; January 4th, 2019
Application approved; January 23rd, 2019 (no email update). Final approval Profile update happens in the evening for Accra VO. That's when you should check.

This is what happens when your passport is approved, it is sent back to vfs ghana the next day, VFS ghana will collate passports for couple of days then send to Lagos, they do this once every week.
