I am about to apply for CAQ for Permanent residency. I still have to wait two months in order to receive the job offer validation and then I will have all the documents ready.
At the moment I have a post-graduate Visa which expires in September 2020, at the same time as my passport expires. After that, I can renew the post-graduate work visa for 3 more months.
I wanted to ask if I should renew my passport before I apply for the CAQ in which case I am not sure how it will work because my current Visa is linked to that passport. And if I manage to renew it probably I will have another delay before applying at the CAQ as it will take time to receive the updated version.
The second thing I wanted to know is when the time comes and my postgraduate Visa expires is it possible to get another work permit while waiting for the CAQ. I have a full-time job if this helps.
