I have a few relatives there, so accommodation should not be a problem. To be honest, I have not thought of starting a job search as yet. The feeling has not sunk in as yet.

I will start in early-mid Feb. I'm in IT, so monster.ca and indeed.ca are the usual places to look for. I think, we should PM each other.

VFS tracker has been updated for me. Now it says:

Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

Does this mean the PP has already been delivered to New Delhi VO?

My status also got changed to like yours.

Any update on your passport after that?

I had PPR request on 7th Jan and submitted my passports to VFS in Mumbai on 11th Jan.

Today I saw the status change in VFS website.

Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXX– Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 15/01/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

So I assume its 5 days to get the stamping and 6 working days to get it back assuming Monday I might be able to pick up my passports.

My status was is being processed from 11th Jan till 14th Jan.

Today the status shown is as below.

Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXX– Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 15/01/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

No change in my status tracker today. Hopefully should see some movement next week

Submitted at vfs Chandigarh on 11 Jan...

Whats the exact procedure at vfs? Any consent forms needs to be filled? Fees? How long is the procedure?

You need to visit VFS office and submit original passports with the email that you receive in your mailbox from CIC. Also two photographs as per the dimensions mentioned in the email.

There is a service charge of Rs580 per applicant. I am not sure the service charge is same in all VFS offices or is it based upon locations.n

For me it took less than 10 mins for the entire process in VFS office. There is no forms to full in VFS office.

Hello team.. i just got the magical ppr mail this morning.
So joining this forum for next process.
I also need to send to NDVO.. am frm chennai. So wil submit in chennai vfs.

My question- the ppr mail has our application number and my uCI. It is default that the pr is granted for my spouse also rite ???

Because each applicant has a uci and i see only min in the email.

Any one who sent PP with spouse ?? How was ur email writeen .. 1 uci or 2 uci???

And what was the subject of ur ppr email. Mine was "ready for visa"

Hello wonderful people!

Glad to join this group after seeing the PPR message just a while ago. I am not able to call the VFS people as it is Saturday today and I thought I'll educate myself from this group.

I'm from South India and I plan to send the Passport to VFS in Delhi through courier. The following is an extract from the message I received from CIC. "Contact VFS in India (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india) or in Nepal (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nepal) and pay the requisite fees for the Passport Transmission Services"

How do I pay this requisite fees as I'm sending the docs through post? Do I include a DD in there?
