Drove to Rainbow Bridge (Niagara US-Canada Border). Walked from the Canadian side, used $0.25 X 2 coins in the turnstile and walked to the US side.

Quick question, You said you drove. Is there parking on the bridge or close by...If yes, what is the parking rate like etc.

Has anyone done landing at Etobicoke visa office (Toronto)?
Doea anyone know whats a waiting time for an appointment if am planning for inland landing?
Also i dont have any address proof other than phone bill and bank statement. Do i nees to show anything else as address proof while landing?
Please suggest

Hi,

I sent my passport to Ottawa office last week after 'PPR' request. Currently I am in US. I used FedEx service for passport delivery.
My tracker for passport delivery activated yesterday, but today in tracking status there was an exception 'Commercial Invoice required'.
I called Fedex customer care and they are asking for a commercial invoice from sender before customs can release my envelope(containing my passport).

Anyone in this situation? What should I do. I don't know how to contact CPC ottawa over phone and get an immediate response.
Please help.

Yes. I parked next to the Hershey chocolate store. It was late in the night so I paid $5 max time.

everything on copr is correct except for original and last entry date
can i still do landing in this case and ask customs officer to amend it?

Certainly!

Like I said before, tell the officer and he/she will correct it by hand. That's why he/she will ask you to check the CoPR for any errors. Ultimately the border officer updates it into the system, which matters the most.

Guys I need help,

I was nominated by Ontario and have received my immigration visa. I currently reside in Alberta. I am defending my thesis in a month so need to stay in Alberta for a few months before relocating to Ontario. I will be landing at the Niagara falls port of entry in a few days from now and need to return to Alberta right after. I have following questions:

1. At the time of landing (in Ontario), is it OK to tell the officer about my current province of residence (Alberta) and just ensure him/her about my intention to move to Ontario in near future after the completion of my studies in Alberta? Do I need to provide any sort of proof to support my claim? FYI, I have letters from friends who currently reside in Ontario whom have agreed to provide accommodation for me upon my relocation to Ontario.
2. After landing and in order to apply for PR Card, Can I give my Alberta address to receive the card or is it better to give a friend's address who is located in Ontario to avoid any possible complication
3. Does the PR card application happens at landing?
4. Can I apply for new SIN after landing back in Alberta or should it be done in Ontario? FYI, I am only staying in Ontario for 2 days for the purpose of landing

I've heard landing isn't allowed on Monday anymore. Just Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday

I tried calling CBSA to see about landing restrictions, but it just says 'enter ID code' and then says i'm not authorised to call the number. I've checked and it's the 'public' number. Anyone know how to bypass the ID code?
