That's not what you said earlier though. We mustn't say that "they need an address proof " without knowing for sure or without any personal experience. We must abstain from dishing out misleading suggestions and confusion-causing statements. Unless you have official links or the source of what you read.

But yes, always more docs than less is a good idea!

They all carried it but CIC doesn't ask for it. They just want to make sure the PR card is mailed to the correct address and it can be done verbally. Like I did! Anyway, docs which I listed will have address proof (bank statement, CoPR, Letter of Employment, etc) and usually people have their driver's license or health card on them at all times! But its good that you read this forum a lot!
Let me know if the officer asks you to confirm the address verbally or insists on showing a proof of address (both very different to each other)!
Update: It turns out the delivery guys scan the parcels twice before heading for delivery to save time. That is why the tracker says it was delivered but which does not necessary mean it was.My tracker says that PP was delivered but I can't find it in the mail box
