Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

I went to Carway in Alberta, drove to the US custom, told them I’m here for landing, the officer asked for my passport. Then asked me to park and went into the building, after waiting for 10 mins, they gave me a refusal to enter US letter thing and my passport back, and asked me to go back to canada lol. Then I made a U turn, drove back to Canada Custom, the officer again asked for my passport, what is my status, and asked me to park and enter their building. The officer inside asked me if I have ever been charged, ever been asked to leave, ever been refused to enter the country, I said no to all of them. They also asked for my Copr, passport and all of my study permits and work permits. After 10 mins waiting (there is a waiting room, don’t walk around outside like a fool, cuz that’s what I did lol), the officer asked me to sign on the copr that doesn’t have photo on, she kept the one that has photo, and told me I’m good to go. Then I drove back home and had sushi :)

This is very interesting! I read on so many forums that Carway is not an immigration entry point and they usually treated people badly for flagpoling. I actually read on a couple of occasions they refused to do the landing and asked people to go to Coutts.
I also looked at the CBSA website and there's no mentioning of immigration under Carway but there is under Coutts.

Hmmm I have never heard about that, I went there because all the people I knew went to Carway, but if what you said happened before, maybe go to Coutts so you don’t waste your time.

I was actually expecting the officer to say congrasss/welcome to canada, but all she said was you are good to go haha.

Yeah I'm considering just flying to the US and spending a couple of days there then coming back. I was going to drive to the Glacier National Park, spend the night and come back.
How was the drive down to Carway? I'm assuming you're in Calgary as well
