My wife Chinita received a phone call today, December 2, from the Canadian Embassy and was asked to send in her passport. An early Christmas present!

............wow!im happy for you...our passport also sent to manila last nov 24 were praying so soon we can recieve our visa...good luck to us!

Our paperwork was submitted to CIC-Mississauga on August 15 and our sponsorship was approved on October 24. The Visa Office is Manila.

I'm so happy for you I see on the site the time line is 10 months for Manila you are getting through really fast. Can you tell me did your file end up in the ottawa pilot or is that just Cairo. I have been getting updates it seems like every two months july it was received, Sept they said approved process started then Nov my husband received and email stating our file was in ottawa pilot.Good luck I hope we get a call soon for his passport
