Hi I have been in Canada for 10 years and was out of the country for 1 month through the 10 years I have been here.

I plan on sending my application next week so I had requested a Police clearance and fingerprints from Ottawa, received the police clearance letter today, should I send it with my application or I should have waited until they request it?

you need to provide police certificate only if you were out of country for more than 183 days.

Could you update what happened to your application without police certificate? I am in the same situation. I have already applied for police certificate but processing time is very long (12-14 weeks). I prefer to send the application without police certificate in order not to lose the queue considering the huge surge of people become eligible when 3/5 rule becomes effective. When did they ask for your police certificate? Is it OK to give them the letter late?
Hi Eliaa, would you please let me know if you sent your application without FBI check or not?! I am at the same exact situation and don’t know what to do..

Question 10(a) I took couple vacation to 2 different countries during my eligibility period. The total vaction time spend outside canada is less than 180 days.
Do I have have to include all addresses I lived during my vacation ?

Question 10 (b) I have lived in only 2 countries since birth. i.e. country of my current citizenship by bith and canada. I landed to canada as PR 3 yrs ago. Now, that I'm eligible to apply for citizenship do I need to submit PCC for the time I lived in my home country. As it asks about 4 years preceding the date of application.

guys plz clarify my understanding....we came from Oman to canada as landed PR in DEc 2013. my family never left canada since 2013 after PR then...so Do they still need PCC in spite of not leaving Canada since Dec 2013... in order to avoid the submission of PCC how long do they need to wait...so they are not required to submit any pcc....is it wise to wait rather than applying for PCC from middle east...is so complicated to get PCC from there.WE are applying for citizenship in march 2018...plz advice
