I have applied for Canadian pr.
Currently it shows as 52% complete with 6 months finishing in first week of May 2020.
My passport from home country is expiring in Dec 2020.
I got my medical done in Nov 2019 so I am guessing I would be able to enter no later than Nov 2020.
For family reasons I cannot go to Canada until Sept 2020.
I would like to know if it's ok to get my passport renewed now? If i use my current passport, I will have just 4 months Sept to Dec. Will they allow me to enter?
After soft landing I plan to be back in my home country and finally move in spring 2021.
