Passport expired after I submitted citizenship application.

My passport expired 6 few months after I submitted my citizenship application. I renewed my passport and I recently got my test invite. Should I inform IRCC about my new passport now, before I take my test, so that there are no issues during the document verification process? How do I inform them? Has anyone been through this situation?

Your new passport is not within your 5 years eligibility period. You don't have to inform them about the new passport.

I was in the same situation as you. I didnt inform anything to IRCC.
