What a beautiful morning Smiley

We just received an email from Paris VO requesting more documents. This is the first communication that we receive from them which works as an AOR too Cheesy

They are asking for the following information:

- The original criminal record dated less than three months and issued by the authorities of Algeria in Arabic;
- Please list any activity (employment, education, unemployment, holidays, etc.) for the periods indicated below. You must indicate the positions held, company name, employer, workplace, etc. and dates (month / year) without interruption:
From 2003/04 to 2010/05

I am very happy to know that they started looking at our application.

Best luck to all of you

BTW, Ecas still shows the status of PR Application as "Application received".

Congrat Source_code :)

I just had some news from Paris. They did a kind of mix between my adresses in Canada and my in-law's...just a big mess because he never lived in Canada so they wonder why he declared his incomes in France!?!
Any lets be patient and optimistic. I just sent back an e-mail stating his residential adresses for the pass 10 years plus some explainations for each move.
I hope it was clear enough and won't delay again my application. :D ARRRGH....I am dying....

Hi guys
As many of you may know i am having interview next month and i want to explain about my relationship in front of you and seeking guidance for my interview.

WELL
Me and my wife (sponsor) we both are from same ethnic religion same country (Pakistan) though my wife is Canadian now! and also we are nearly age fellow i am 27 and she is 26. so far it seems our application is straight forward!

But the thing that could be possibly RED Flag that she was married before in January 2011 and got divorced in December 2012. and when we got marry with each other in December 2013 it was an arranged marriage and was arranged by the reference of our family friends and our parents so as we are both Muslims and in our culture we don't speak generally before the marriage and also not even seen physically before marriage. i met my wife on our wedding day and we started cohabitation!

one thing i never asked my wife for her previous marriage anything not even name of her ex husband because whenever i tried to ask her she started crying for several hours and i really don't want to make her sad and crying as it is very dishearten for her! also divorce in our culture (Muslim) is very very big deal that why i don't want to ask her

but now i think i have to ask her!!

so
here is some short story of me guys
i am really seeking help from you if you can guide me in this kind of situation if visa officer asks me about arrange marriage and her Ex husband how should i answer in my interview.

thanks to all guys every one has answered me in my each last posts i am really thankful to you!
hope you will again guide me how should i handle this situation thanks a lot
and congrats to every one who has got their COPR.

I really feel for you Vera16, I would have smoke coming out of my ears.

I continue to pray for fast processing for you daily.

I still feel you will be the next one to get decision made/COPR and I have a feeling it will be sooner then you think!

So your wife was was married and got divorced after 2 years. Was her ex-husband her sponsor for when SHE became a permanent resident?

If her ex-husband was her sponsor I think what might be a red flag to Paris is they may think that her first marriage was a marriage of convenience just to obtain permanent residence. And not because you had an arranged marriage, but because she got married again after one year of her divorce that they may think this is also another marriage of convenience just to get you your permanent residence.

Do you currently live together now?

Although it upsets your wife to speak about her previous marriage I think that because you have an interview coming up it is more important now more then ever for you to know every detail about her and her past including her previous marriage.

Thanks ryit
No no not at all my wife is Canadian and her ex husband is in Pakistan and her ex husband is never been Canadian
My wife came to Canada in 2007 under family sponsorship and she became Canadian in 2011

And my wife also didn't sponsor to her ex husband when she got marry before.

So I think you will be quite clear now!

Now any suggestions !!

From what you've written the only thing that I can think of is because she got re-married exactly one year after getting divorced.

That being said I can't really see why that would be a red flag because I got officially divorced (received my divorce papers signed by the courts) in August 2011 and started living with my current common-law partner in August 2011 (became officially common-law in August 2013). In Canada you have to be legally separated from your ex for 1 year before they will give you a divorce, so me and my ex had bad been legally separated since January 2010.

So the timeline for entering another relationship is kind of the same. I guess the only difference is my and my common-law husband have a child together.

Is there anything else you could be possibly leaving out that you may not think is a major detail but could be causing a red flag?

Are you and your wife currently living together in the same country or separate?

Misbah,

What documents have you submitted to them to prove your marriage ?
