No news about medical 16 months passed after submitting papers in Islamabad and file is now in london moved in march.

Can you share with me the timeline for step from Pakistan for parents sponsership, AFTER step 1 has completed, and Missiasuaga office transfers the case to Pakistan.

In general how long do you expect to take after file as been transferred to embassy in Pakistan.

The CIC website shows 66 months for processing time after the step 1 has completed (i.e after case transfers to Pakistan visa office). 66 months is such a long time. I was wondering if this is accrurate, hence wanted to see how much time it is actually taking by the Canada visa office in Pakistan.

The time shown in cic web is total time they can spent on ur file but they don't spend 66 month.
According to previous record average time they spent on files in Islamabad is 3 or may be round about 3 years...mostly everyone did medical 2 times lol this is for isb.....
But now the local visa office is changed to london so don't have pet idea of what they will do to us...
According to gcms they transferred files duw to work load so hopefully london will be much better than canada embassy in pakistan.

Hi i went to my ecase this friday i saw that the status of my application for permanent residence (parents grand parents) changed from documents received to in process.When i clicked in they said that they started to process the application last monday september 22 2014.So my question was to know how long would it take for them to process it in order to call us for the medical visit.thanks

Not sure but hope for an Email on Tuesday, if you have provided an email address to CIC. Otherwise a letter in the mail in a week or two.

Mine started processing September 10, and processing was finished September 25. However we had received the request for medicals on June 26, and the medical was done on July 25.

case processing time in ottawa is very less as compared to new delhi or islamabad

Person who has sponsored you must have received a letter of file transfer ... Mentioning that ur file have been transfer to LVO and all further inquiries can b made there
