Is n't there 3 fees like
A principal applicant , then spouse and then right of landing fees. Or just 490 each person on application. Please clarify . Thank you . Will appreciate it.

it is $490 each for all who have to pay see below:

Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

Hope this helps.

Yes you do need to submit the "Use of a Representative (IMM 5476)". I am in the same situation and I ask and they said yes because the representative is hte person they will be communicating with.

My parent dont have married certificate and my father death since i was young and my mother didnt get married anymore. but i have Father death certificate so my question is CIC need married certificate or not?
Thank you in advance

My parents application was filed in 2009. The file was transferred to London-UK visa office for further processing in Jan 2014. I have not heard from London office as of yet and its been 8 months already.

Any applicant is from London visa office? Any progress on the file? I have not rec'd any med or pcc request.

Our timelines are quite similar. The file for my mother in law was sent to Ottawa Feb 6, 2014. We received the medical request by email on June 26, 2014.

Hopefully you will see something soon.

They still took around 10 months after the documents submission for the medical and even now it's mid of August and NO passport request :(
Have they asked for any additional documents? You submitted Police Clearance Certificate along with the documents?

Thank you so much for clarification.

So basically your sponsor ship application plus the whole process just took 6 months and your family landed in Canada in 6 months. That is awesome . Congratulations.

It took about 8 months, not 10, from document submission to request for medical. It took us almost the whole 90 days to round up all the documents in Ukraine, have them sent to Canada and get them translated.

No additional documents have been requested. In early August, 2013, we received a letter asking for the PRV application. It took a while to round up all the documents and all was sent in late October, 2013. At this time we sent the PRV application, police clearance, all other requested documentation, and paid the "right of permanent residency" fee.

Received a letter dated Feb 6, 2014 stating that the sponsorship application was approved, and that the file was sent to CPP Ottawa.

Received an email Jun 26, 2014 with instructions to go for a medical. Medical was done on July 25, and I noticed about a week ago on CIC website that "Medical results have been received."

Now we are trying to guess what happens next! What is a realistic expectation? Other than a long wait, everything seems to be in order and moving along. I have seen some timelines on this forum that indicate that a visa could be issued 2-3 months following the medical. We are hoping this will happen in our case. Sadly, I have seen others where medicals have been redone after a year of inaction and people are still waiting.

Yes, I did send my mother-in-laws birth certificate. (actually a photo copy with translation to english). I do not recall the precise reason I included it, probably just as an additional "identity document". It may not have been specifically requested.

Judging by posts here, it can be anywhere form 8-12 mnths after medical received from Ottawa
