Guys, Decision Made this morning on E-CAS.

You got lucky to be accepted in Oct, 2011 as cut out was Sept 2011 - they are working on apps till May 2010 - you might be the next batch or the batch after that since you are the last group. No one knows when they will start processing apps but it's been a while so you might get something soon or not, can't tell if they do May 2010-Oct2011 batch or split it, as they have to work with yearly caps as well, and tons from 2009/2010 still waiting to be filled, you are looking at anywhere from 12-24 months of wait or more till process end

Do we need to maintain the income through out all the years ? What if someone has say 1000-2000 less income than the required one and he got more in next year.

For how many years CIC check the income ?

Typically yes - till the process is over, we've seen them ask for updated financial docs from few sponsors and coincidentally from those who were actually short ( still not sure how CIC finds out, but it's possible they have CRA info but not clear )

As for you, they will ask updated option C when you get request for additional docs - this is a new trend we've seen ( going by experience from 2009/2010 apps ) so if you feel you were short - from 2011, 2012, 2013 - you can hope they can bypass that, or to be on the safe side, re-file taxes for that year to see if you can come up with the correct amount

There is a user here who was short but sent explanation to show there was income indeed, but still waiting for approval since 3 months

In my experience, any deviance which doesn't meet their required docs/income will be cause of delay and other issues

Way too early, those apps will be sitting behind current crop - so it's a long wait

They got their medicals done in Jan 2014, now my father has been asked to get some further tests done.
Is it normal to get this kind of request? my dad has high BP n diabetic too but he is on medication.

Yes, it is normal to ask for additional tests, may I ask how you get notified, did you receive any email, or the PP called you?

My mother's file is transferred to UK visa office as part of reduing the backlog of PGP Applications. Her LVO initially was ISB. I sent email to London office to change address and I see that now the mailing address on file is updated.
I beleive they will next ask for the documents like Police Certificate etc. My mother already obtained the police certificate from Pakistan in Sep. I am not sure if I need to get the new PC or the other one will still be valid. In Sep my mother came to Canada so her certificate covers the time she was in Pakistan. Also do I need to get certificate from Canada as well. She lived in Canada for 2 yrs from 2010-2012. My sister also studied in Malaysia and got a police certificate from there before coming bak to home country. Do we need to renew that police certificate?

I want to prepare documents before they ask for it. Any advice will be helpful.

Anyone from ISB got any good news lately, I haven't heard from them after the Medicals last April and I don't know if anyone got any news or visas lately. Are they out of 2014 quota?

Thank you palu. BP and diabetes is normal after a certain age. So do not worry. Additional medical tests would be to find out if there might be any other medical condition related to the current bp and diabetes that may lead to huge medical expenses by canada. Nothing to worry.
