My mother is here and she will be staying here for 2 more years.is it possible that we can choose visa office as ottawa

Sure you can, but it depends totally on Mississauga where to send it to. The are people on this form who requested Ottawa as a processing office, but Mississauga still decided to send the applocation to the local visa office by their parents residence. So we can never know...but it does not hurt to ask the CIC to send it to Ottawa, in case you are lucky.

hiiii frndz hello...today my ecas is changed to in process,,,wht does its means?.....they will send request for passport or anything more they want to clearify after DNA....i think in process is not good sign,,i really worried about it,,,wht u think? now the status is

3.Medical results have been received.

and before this status is

I just called CIC call centre, and asked them about Status of my application. The agent told me that they do not have records of documents received, and asked me to send email. I am so upset. I sent docs as Xpresspost, and they were deleivered next day and signed by Bud Jamal on Oct 4, 2013. I am not sure what should I do? Did anyone of you had same issue?

We were in the same situation. We had to wait 6 weeks to get the confirmation of receipt letter. When we called the CIC the agent said that they couldn't see any update about the documents reeceived and advised us to wait for 10 weeks from the day the package was received by Mississauga and then to contact them again...
In next two days we received that letter.

just received an email from delhi VO asking for my borhter's marriage certificate along with some pictures of wedding. but e-case status still showing medicals received. hope this is a good news atleast file is in process and not too far from visa stamps

I guess next time somebody has MP appointment, they should bring these concerns to their attention. Its sad how cic is so careless the way they do their work! We spent so much effort putting together the application and cic is being so negligent. I am sure they never sent me the additional doc request back in Nov 2011, otherwise there was no reason for me not to receive their mail. I was at the same address since i applied. What do we pay the federal tax for

wondering if it affects the application processing,
1. if a visitor visa for the applicants was refused previously (Schedule A background declaration has this ques). Refusal reason being no travel history!
2. or if the applicant has refugee claim file in process

oh boy! why would they remove him from the application then. It takes cic years to finalize the case and for sure family situation will change over those years. Will they keep removing applicants if they pass the age of 22. Hope not, otherwise we would not even bother including those inching closer to 22 yrs. Even if married, so what the applicant was still a dependent under 22 at the time of initial application. Strange rules!
