New on this forum.
Here is my case.
Applied in August 2008 to sponsor my mother and sister.
Approved and case moved to CHC Islamabad December 2012.

Medical done in April 2013.

My question is with respected members of this forum is.

My sister was under 22 at the time of application. She stayed student till 2012.
She got married last year and I notified CIC/CHC Isb about her marriage. For some reasons( I informed CIC about them) her marriage did not worked out and she took divorce/ Khula through court which is finalized last week.
I notified this change to CIC too when we took the matter into the court and I got a reply asking for Proof. Such as divorce certificate.
Getting a certificate of divorce is a 3-4 months long process. However, I send them court orders( stamped) also her attested application for change in her marital status for national ID card.Will get change in her passport as well in few weeks.

My question is. Is the evidence i provided is enough? Although, we already applied to city council for the certificate for just in case.
Will my mother and sister case will affect in any way?
My mothers medical was done in April but my sister didn't got it done till July due to pregnancy which she lost due to stress she was facing in her day to day domestic life.

Please comment on the prospects and any suggestions?





send them divorce certificate too when you get that.try to send them as much proof you can.our madical also done in april but still waiting

Your case went pretty fast. Ours is 2009 and still waiting for meds.

Can your father not call Islamabad to find out? MPs are useless, specially conservatives. Didnt 59 month passed in your case?

My father called the CHC Islamabad office but the operator said you need to contact us via email. We cannot give you any information over the phone.

59 months are on CIC website after the file is transfered to Islamabad VO. MP got a reply from this office saying the file was received by us in Feb 2011. So we will process accordingly. So do we have to wait for another 24 months?

Don't wait, Send a FAX inquiry right away to CHC Islamabad with info about date of completed medical.
Perhaps that will get their attention in this matter.

You are right brother. I will do it first thing Monday morning. What do I write? Any suggestions?

What is gcms, where do u order it from? Can it be send with the additional doc requests forms?

actually you are right, we should have but what happened was isb asked some additional info for my brother in law education, long story short i sent it end of Aug. and now waiting. Last time i order gcms notes it has the due date in medical column Nov. 30/13 i am waiting end of this month, if i dont get anything then i will apply for gcms notes on Nov. 1.

What about you? any progess? your case is very old, it should been over by now.

I applied in 2008 August.
My case was very straight forward.
As I am born and raise in Islamabad. all life
My father was in govt job. Not military or etc.
My mom is housewife.
Not much to US or outside to Canada since my arrival in Canada 8 years ago.
Went Out twice only to visit Pakistan.
Ever, since I am in Canada. I am working on regular jobs.
Easy to track my history. Only twist came in my application is what I mentioned.
When its easy for CHC to check your back-ground it makes the process fast.
I had the citizenship in Canada in exactly 3 year and 11 months.

Just to share my 2 cents with you guys. This will help new comers to Canada.

my family medical done april 2013 but they ask for additional test which has done july and our e case change to medical on august 2013 .hope fully they wil ask for ppr soon inshaAllah

Hunny, My sister got Medical done in August.
E-cas status is medical received since September. They asked for status of my sister. I sent documents 02 weeks ago.
In-Process. last line Medical Results received.

Guys, What is canadian visa application center in colombo? Why do we need to submit the passport to them instead of canadian high commission in colombo? Two months earlier people submitted their passport directly to the high commission. Now they ask to submit the passport to canadian visa application center? Why is like that....
Please someone explain to me....Thanks in advance....
