i am confused why they asking for interview ?

Hi....my father is also in police . He also got interview call back in april this year. From 3 of us my parents and me ( dependent) only my father was called for interview. It was regarding their job details like where he worked, what kind of duties he performed, arrests he made or others. I think it is common for police men. Moreover they found that in our documents it was mentioned that he is inspector since his joining but fortunately my father provided them with their promotion details. My father was in CID unit so his duties were different and at present he is teaching staff. So hope this will help you.

that is strange, what will they be asking for at interview? I'm sure they have all the proof of the relationship ties. Maybe they have some questions about the dependents eligibility.

No, we do not use lawyer's service. Interview can cover mostly anything. It depends who they ask to come for interview. If it's just your parent so definitely they will ask questions about his life. If the rest of the family is present then they will ask questions about all of you.

only canadian citizen can order gcms notes..it may be your relative or your sponsor or any one on your behalf.. but he/she MUST be a canadian citizen..check user828 signature for video..
