got email back from rcmp that Finger print info was sent to lvo ND on 20 th sep 2013....
seems now the file is complete ....lets see

only canadian citizen can order gcms notes..it may be your relative or your sponsor or any one on your behalf.. but he/she MUST be a canadian citizen..check user828 signature for video..

My sister has not received the letter. Does this mean it has been approved.

Thank you for the update! If you'd like to know about the decision, call the CIC center - they can also tell you which visa office your file was transferred to.

No, it's not strange. They opened our file and sent AOR on September 24, we received the letter early in October. Thepas's file was opened on September 25 - next day after ours. It's good that Mississauga opens one week files in one day - it means they are working fast.

ok ours was received on 4th october. It was send by express post canada post. but nobody signed for it. Can you tell me if yours was signed by someone in tracking. Also is there any change in Ecas after this letter?

We sent it by Purolator. It was delivered right to the door and was signed. I don't think Canada Express delivers it right to the door, - they just sent the notice for pick up. The Mississauga people have the PO box in the same place, so I'm sure they did get your docs, just did not sign for it.

No, there is no update on ecas, even the CIC center agent could not see anything. I guess Mississauga does not update files before they actually start working on the application.

Is anyone have idea how much time it gonna take if they are reviewing your family sponsorship file after fullfilled all the requirements? Can we expect visa soon for my parents and dependent.

You need authorization from your dad to release info to you ....just generic letter signed by him to release the info to you.

Thanks inlaw.....so can my dad send email himself or still RCMP want to see the actual signatures of my Dad. In that case I can ask him to write a request letter on plain paper and then we can scan that letter and send to RCMP
