sometimes they extent the medical but most of the times they returned your passport with another medical package & ask the applicant to re-appear for medical

Truth be told, the fairness factor was outta the window when they bundled everything last year and sent files to CPP-O ( dont buy the BS of str8 forward files ) - and late 2009 apps were getting visas before 2007/2008

Who knows what process they have, I am sure they will take the fees and put these 5K in a pile somewhere

Bottom line is this country doesn't want parents, they prefer you get them on Supervisa and pay the insurance. Their culture and attitude towards parents is different from what we see in asia

Totally agree. If there is any doubt, read comments on online news sites on any immigration story in Canada. People are almost swearing at those who are talking about bringing parents permanently, totally unfair for a country made up of immigrants. In the end, do not expect fairness in terms of time and don't compare case vs case.

Just an update as well. My dad told me that when they went to pick up visa in ND, they were told the delay was due to physical file not being with them or where it should be (god knows why) and only after emails they received someone made the effort to find it. Not sure if its my emails (about 20) or the MP email who was largely non-cooperative. It could be an excuse as GCMS showed file transferred almost a year back to ND, but could be true as in case of some other people I see they talk about physical files location issues.

Keep the pressure on and hope for best.

I got GCMS notes back today, it states that the file is forwarded to SS about three months ago.
Does someone have any idea about what SS mean/stands for? or it just may be the visa officer's name/initials.

No update except that one.

Thanks

Guys still waiting for some advice or suggestion or opinion on the above mentioned.
Cheers!

Hi Guys,

I have a question, when we filed the papers in 2010. we were the family of four. But later on that year there was addition in family with a baby and now is family of 5 including sponsored parents. So do I have to inform them now with a cover letter while sending forms to mississauga.

Also for the option C printouts, do we need to look at total taxable income or anything else? because there are other things too on that. but do we only care about total taxable income and make sure we are above the requirement.

Thanks

Yes you have to send a letter abt change in family circumstances . I attached babys birth cert and passport copies. Must include option c upto 2012. They will look at line 150. Good luck.

Thanks for replying Thepas,

I ordered and received option C for year 2009,10,and 11. Because in the letter they said to include option-c for the year we applied and one year before. which means they only want it for 2010 and 2009 in my case. I didn't ordered it for 2012.

are you self-employed?

They are asking for 2009 and 10 option c for ppl with no change in family. If u hve one thn thy will ask for all yrs since u applied. I know it takes 2 weeks to get 2012 return for u. If u dont want to wait send ur pack with upto 2011 printouts. Its in ur best interest not to get request for 2012 printout frm cpc..which may cause firther delays. Its ir decision.

If ur or not selfemployed they only care abt line 150 and look at other numbers for claims like social asst and ei. At the end if ur line 150 meets lico u r good.

Sorry for asking, you just mentioned about 'other things' on your Option-C - that's what mostly self-employed people have.

Could you please explain more about how they calculate the self-employed income? Thank you in advance.
