Lvo delhi have recieved all the douments and are doing the background cheaks...

My question is what is required in background cheak....as one of our parent was in canada for 10 months on visitor visa in 2008

also 1 more dependent related question...i have read the dependent meaning a few times but still need to confirm 1 thing

IF THE DEPENDENT AGE IS LOCKED (WHEN THEY RECIEVED THE FILE) WHILE WAS UNDER 21 AT THAT POINT HE WAS IN SCHOOL...NOW IF SAME DEPENDENT IS 24 AND HE DOES A FULL TIME JOB(NOT MARRIED)...WILL HE BE STILL CONSIDERED A DEPENDENT OR HE HAS TO CONTINUE STUDY UNTIL HE GETS VISA???

It doesn't matters unless they(ND office) get to know about his job. Bcoz he can never be self dependant. If he is working and it has not been disclosed to anyone....its fine.....keep your fingers crossed....everything will be alright....best luck

My application was submitted on Dec 8 , 2009, that's why i am curious to know if CIC have started processing from this date. No update on my ecas, still " application received".

Why do you think they've already started processing applications from Dec 2009?

I have a good news to share. My parents e-cas is working since this morning. Today the e-cas status shows 'Decision Made'. Now waiting for PPR. How much time it takes to get the PPR after the change in status on e-cas?

E-cas Update:

We received your application for permanent residence on July 28, 2009.

We started processing your application on January 31, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I think there isn't any. Only those who applied upto nov 2009 received documents request.

Dear Friend, I'm from Iran, my brother applied for us(me and my parents) and our case was transferred to Damascus in September 2009 and again it was transferred to Ankara in April 2012, our medical was sent by May 2012,ans still looking forward for PPR! by the way my father was an air man and was retired 30 years ago. i would be grateful if you could let me how long we are supposed to wait. thank you.

Great !! Congts !!! So is it the tendency that when Ecas is back seems some changes on ecase? I mean those ecase is not working expecting some changes on status soon ??
