i think in they hold the cases whom status changed to in process ,other cases directly changed from application received to decision made. most of in process cases r holding from long time according to list.

I would say read our old posts when member39 asked almost same question and maybe try to get help from India's university's proffesors and comeup with strong reason for changing subject And yeah like user828 said try getting the proof/letter from that counsellor/professor who suggested. Hi Sonu86, it seems the immigration officer who is working on your file is over-doing it, if we read the clause of defining a dependant child, it says clearly that he/she should be enrolled in full time course. Now I think you just have to get a legitimate reason for enrolling in Industrial Diploma after finishing MA(?). So what I would suggest is contact a lawyer and I hope everything should work your way.

Thank u friend, one reason we have is that there are lot of job opportunities in industrial field and having MA with the diploma can increase chances by providing extra pts when there is a job opening....but concern is if officer says that why she did not apply for any job til now...or say like if she has opportunities then she doesn't need to immigrate....m just worried....her college proffesor told her that they can provide in writing the benefits of her MA in these courses....would that be enough to satisfy the officer....pls anyone....any suggestions....

It will definitely help. Please ensure letter from college and/or professor is on official letter head and with contact details of the person signing the letter.

Its none of their business as far as job is concerned, all that matters is the presentation of your case, which I think only an expert can do in a proper way. Atleast you have some legitimate reason for taking up this course. Don't stress out. They cannot tell you about how many opportunities you have. Its pretty simple, prove yourself a full time student. Mine ecas is also not working.Message showing is they can't recognize my information.Some people on different forums are complaining ecas not working and some are saying their ecas is working fine.
What it could be?Might be an update on file?

Hello friends
Applied in Feb 2008.
File transferred to New Delhi in April 2012.
Additional documents requested, medical requested and passport requested on November 27, 2012 asked to submit in 60 days (by January 27, 2013).
Documents and passport submitted Jan 20, 2013.
Medical received per ECAS on February 1, 2013.
Any idea how long will it take from this point?
