Thanks a lot. It is great. Can you sort the records in the spreadsheet in some order i.e. either by column "Date Applied" or "Transfer Date".

Sort Order is set to
First Sort : OVERALL STATUS (Descending) - "Pending" on Top and "Complete" at Bottom
Second Sort : TRANSFER DATE (Ascending)
Third Sort : DATE APPLIED (Ascending)

We have been asked to submit passports in India either to the high commission or through VFS. Any one know if there will be a processin fee from VFS if we submit it their , cause I know if everything is right we will get the pp back in 7-10 days
did u get a letter or email stating u can submit PP at VFS, in my case my mother went to submit PP at VFS and they told her that PP for PR has to be submitted at Visa Office - ND and they can't accept it at VFS, and then the PP was couriered to ND......so just wanted to make sure

Thanks for that info Raj. I am just loosing patience yaar. It's such a long wait.

Hi vik_indian,

We should hear about PPR by December end. I am optimistic to get PPR in this year`s target. I was concerned about next year (2013) target a while ago, so I wanted my parents visa to be issued under this year`s target. Now that CIC announced next year`s target to be 25,000 as well, so I am not that worried now. We`ll get PPR by December end or within first couple of months of next year. `Apna number jaldi aayenga` meaning our turn will come soon.

CPP-O is issuing PPR`s almost daily and if they have to meet their target for this year, they will have to issue a lot of PPR`s by December end. However, they cannot bypass background checks just to get to the target goal. Even if they do not reach the numbers, they can issue those PPR`s in Jan-Feb of next year. Some cases can have longer background checks. It is a matter of days or weeks for us to hear about PPR.

Thank You Kandel, just saw your post above. Also for calling me dear friend. I became emotional as I do not have any relative and just one friend here in Canada. My fiance is French and so we have cultural differences and its going to take years till we finally understand each other :). This Forum was like a second family to me where everyone understands each other and even though I have not been interacting much here but have been following it every day.

Take care Saini :)

His file was in CPP-O, unlike ND, they don't ask for all the docs again and only require Passport and thats why offer the convenience of VFS, in case of ND - you have to mail directly since ND still waits for your Meds and final decision

VFS is your 1-2 weeks turnaround time so it's different for cases who have gone to ND

Hello Syed. My timelines are almost same to your and my file was also sent to ISB.

My parents are here and the address on their file is also from here. I am wondering where they will get the letter or AOR.

Reading from your post, seems like your parents havent heard anything yet.
