Applied in May 2008 for parenets no dependants, decesion made in May 2012. File transfer ot local Visa office Pakistan and asked for PCC on Spet 2012.
Bad luck is next step is medical and my dad just diagnosed with Prostrate cancer. would it effect on medical , will he get approve? wht will happen to my mother case as dependant on him.
I waited so long excited to be here with me. But I guess not under our control this is what it is?

Just want to know what if he is just started his treatment will CIC accept this?

Thanks northclare! I submit my original application in February 2008 so I don't think they are trying to honor the original order because there is an applicant (CANOCAN) from June 2008 @ which already got the visa from CPP-O.
I sent a message to my MP but he didn't answer it. Did you go personally to see your MP?
Could please let me know how if it is ok to contact myself you MP to find out the decision?

Assistant of my MP just contacted me to ask me to provide the consent form so my MP could contact CPC-Ottawa.
I hope finally I will find out soon what is the decision after more than 2 months since decision was made.

Hi there all

a good day so far, ecas changed to decision made earlier today, and I just picked up a letter from CIC, sponsorship approved and file forwarded to CPP Ottawa. I think I may go and buy a lottery ticket, as good luck comes in 3's?

I have a couple of questions:

1. They say I am due a refund of $120 does anyone know why that may be, I paid the sponsorship fee of $1100 when I originally applied? Is it related to reduced cost of processing in-country rather than overseas.
2. Do I use the date of this letter from CPC as my transfer date for the online spreadsheet, or do I wait for an AOR from Ottawa

Don't worry. I believe your file was forwarded to CPP-O and it must now be at LVO (after medicals) and the request must have originated from country-specific requirements.

why do you think so? the e-mail came from CPP-O:

The email may have come from Ottawa. Once the medical is done, the final visa would be issued by the local office (if the parent is not in Canada). It is at this stage, they may have asked for further documents. And since the file was originally handled by CPP-O, the request may have been routed through them.

I also seem to recollect that people whose files are in LVO have received emails for medicals from Ottawa?

Looking at the spreadsheet again ,2 things stand out: a) most ,if not all final approvals so far on this forum are through LVOs and b)most are from 2007 or early 2008. How this relates to quotas I have no idea but so far no final approvals from CPP-O.

Sorry to hear that, my uncle had it in NY, got treatment and is fine now
basically, cancer test is different isn't it or u can find out in regular blood test? the thing is that u need to be truthful in the med forms u fill out

Additional documents are send to everyone who applied till Nov 2009 so you will receive them once they start sending it to Dec 2009 applicants. This is basically all the new application forms and supporting documents.

Sponsors Option C document for the year they submit the application.
Complete permanent resident application, pictures, righ of landing fee, financial details etc...
