Oh the difference! What we got from our LVO are a few forms that has a handwritten on it (names and dates) along with 2 letters, PPR and medical request. We had to download only one form from the website IM5406. We also got medical forms with immigration stamp. These are what we got.

Your form is only for travel records so fill it in with only travel information and that's it, the date starts at when they first travelled outside India. A friend just texted me she is working on her parent sponsorship, East Indian.

..thats the tough part, we have lots since 1970 and don't remember all exact dates, my concern was that do we have to give best estimates or be precise. It's really hard to tell from passport stamps that too if one has all old passports, and many fade as well

hi everyone .. hope evryone doing great... i hve a question in how many days after requesting For CSQ selection certificate Quebec they issued the letter? the cerficate, my visa is in process and islamabad embassy asked for the new CSQ as my old 1 is got expired.. Kindly reply me if you know anything about it thanks.

I think it takes upto 40 working days to issue CSQ from the date Quebec Immigration receive your completed application.

Now,I am not sure what is the next step and what timeline should I expexct?

What should I receive next from new delhi? Do they ask for any documents from new delhi? As we already sent everything to missisauga office!! If they still ask for documents,What are those documents? I have dependent in my file ,thats what I am concerned about the most!!!

Oh Sorry. I don't know much about renewing CSQ. Does it mean you'll have to show your income again???

You will receive a confirmation of application received from New Delhi office roughly about 45-50 days after sponsorship approval. i.e: around August 28, 2012

Hi Guys,

I have a quick question regarding parents sponsorship.

Does CIC asks for updated income proof between the immigration case . The reason I am asking is I applied for my parents in 2010 August and had 6 months of income from 2009 and 6 months from 2010. The 6 months income in 2010 also includes personnel income ( i sent the cheques and everything ) .. After I sent my file I lost my main job and went on parental leave ( since I knew parental income is included ) I did get another job after 6 months resulting my 2010 income less by 6K ...

My income for the precedding month from August 2010 to July 2009 was ok.. But 2010 was less by 6k .

Now for 2011 my income was over the asking amount and will be good for 2012 as well.

My question is will they ask for all years income or will they ask for income at the time they work on my case like if they open my file in 2013 will they ask for all 3 years ( 2010, 2011, 2012 )... does any one has any experience regarding this....

I called the CIC help desk and asked if i should pull out my file due to this, she advised me not to do that..

Does anybody have a sense why some LVOs ask for passports along with medical requests, and in some LVOs this is a separate process? My mom had her medicals done mid May and no news yet on further steps. ECAS says "medicals received" and "in process".

Why wouldn't he, it's impossible to tell from stamps too, I see one upon the other etc..its like a maze

In additions, stamps are unreliable. In 2000, Canadian Border Agent stamped 2001 instead, this created lot of headache when it came for citizenship as it showed me out of Canada for 1 year. During my citizenship ceremony, I went upto immigration officer and told her, she said oh that's Ok..didn't even bother looking at it, she said we don't rely on stamps

Hi All,

Here's an update on my parents application. The e-cas status has a new line that says "Medicals Received".

My parents submitted their passports two weeks after the medicals as per CIC's request.

Would anyone be able to know what the next step will be? How long do you think it will take for them to receive visas?

Please advise.
