Question about GCMS notes - again

I sent a request for those (by email) a while ago (less than a month but close) . Have not heard back yet but I am wondering if they would have let me know in case they needed anythign else from me to fulfil that request?
I am a representative for my parents so I sent a scan of the signed use of representative form to them (along with the request form, receipt and copy of my citizenship card). I did not send the consent to release information - only a signed use of rep form (a bit complicated for my parents to get this other consent form so I decided to try withut it, just with use of rep).

I have not heard back from them (except auto-reply to my email). Should I assume they accepted my request and just wait (if they have not asked for anything else).
If it takes significantly longer than 30 days should I contact them again ? I know some people got a letter saying that they needed more time to provide notes but I have not received anything so far...

wait exactly 30 days, either you will get letter (may take 10 days to reach), call or email.

Good news.Today my e case change to decesion made.before it was application received.According to e case they mailed me letter on july 26th.maybe this week i will get it.I send additional documents on may 15.received AOR on may 25.NO dependents.

agree with others - wait for official 30 days... then you will get something... i always got something from them after 30 days...

I see, I guess there is that added time frame for them. I am actually more worried on how to send passport from Canada, once they ask for it

If the passport is actually in Canada, it means the person is lawfully admitted( visitor visa or any type of visa.) Why do they have to request for the passport to give you another visa??

i ordered gcms notes by e-mail on May 29 and got them by e-mail on June 28...
if it's regular mail then you need to add several days for your letter to get to cic and their letter to get to you...

did you order electronic notes only? or also a physical file? it might take longer to get the physical file... and the results might be too big to send by e-mail so cic might be sending a CD by regular mail...
