Thanks for the info! Looks pretty much 'as promised' for you...

Please note the next screen after this ( http://www.freeimagehosting.net/149t9 )
It should be selected at least 70% or more.
It is bit of confusing this screen says how you want to get application processed, next screen will ask you within Family, how you want applications to be processed.

TIPS FOR COMPLETING:-
1) They do not ask for any personal information, so that does not mean you complete 10 of these. If they see someone completed survey from same IP address more than once it will not be counted. So either do it once or do it using different IP address.

2) Under who are you, selecting CITIZEN give more merits.

3) Under 2013 Immigration planning select increase by 100,000-150,000 (SEE http://www.freeimagehosting.net/tzjqh )

4) Under what is the MIX select Family (50% -/+ 5%) (SEE http://www.freeimagehosting.net/149t9 )
which is put anywhere between 45%-55%, we don't want everyone putting same 50%

5) Next Question after number 4 above asks how you want to split family class processing, I entered 70% & I would suggest putting any value between 65-75%.

EVERYONE MUST DO IT, THIS IS HOW THEY WILL ALLOCATE VISA FOR PARENTS APPLICATION

I guess this COPR thing for PR only works for those TRV exempt countries and unfortunately my home country is NOT one of those. COPR also works for those TRV extension (correct me if I am wrong)
Also, I wouldn't mind sharing some experience... perhaps you can repost the link for that forum you mentioned....

In my country we dont have Canadian Embassy and every time smb needs visa the only way to get it is to send the passport to Rome LVO. So yes, you can mail a passport. My other concern, regarding the need for PR visa when already having a visa for Canada, I would appreciate if somebody can share the experience on that. In another thread -http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/should-i-reenter-canada-t113081.0.html- you can see that people from visa exempt countries don't receive PR in their passports, just COPR. That's why I think that having already a visa might mean they wont request the passport anymore, or at least I hope.

Yeah keep it going! I am with you!

ok guys, I must say one thing, if you select organization instead of individual, the questions are different.

If you own a company or small business, I recommend selecting that as well, but it requires name of the company.

Thanks for this info apple_talk

Hi there,

I applied a PR application for my parents and was received at immigration office Delhi on June 13th 2011.
they had the medical examination done on January 3rd 2012 and passports were submitted to the Canadian High commission. since then the ecas is showing the application status "medical results received".

Do u know how much time it takes to get the PR stamping and get the passports back.

Regards,

Interestingly, I just completed the survey (as an individual) and I actually did NOT get any questions regarding the split for the family /refugee etc. I mostly got question related to economic class immigration (various 'split' questions, importance of certain factors in selecting for economic immigration etc).

Looks like the survey is set up with some skip logic based on the answers or maybe randomly directs respondents to certain groups of questions...

SURVEY DONE for some reason it is a little and admittedly disappointing. I wish participants can leave a feedback...

In my case there was a "comments on immigration system" area.I guess everyone is getting different style of survey.
