I just received my GCMS notes and I will post the entire copy later, so we could go through it..however - I found that my email address was incorrect ( not my fault ), who knows what I might have missed but as per GCMS I dont think process has started in ND.

I had to send IM5476 anyway, so I have faxed, emailed and mailed a hard copy so they update it.

For those who haven't received anything via email, it could be a simple reason that someone mistyped and causes us headaches

Anyone received any updates from Ottawa after Medical Results have been received?

No updates, medicals delivered to Ottawa on Mai 17th, 2012.
My e-cas still show "we received your permanent resident application on March XX, 2008"

Hi All,

I have some good news to share...

My parents got medical request today. The letter was dated May 30, 2012 and was sent from the LVO. I was really surprised to hear so quickly from the LVO for medicals after my application was sent to them on May 10, 2012.

Good luck to the rest of you who have apps sent to LVO...

On the letter my Parents received, it also mentions that passports should be sent to the Local Canadian visa office two weeks [b/] after the medicals are done.
Just want to clarify, do we wait for another letter before we submit the passports or just send them off?

Thanks

I suggest submit the passports.Sometime they ask for medical and passports at the same time.Send the passports along with copy of this letter after higlighting the passport part.Congratulations.
I wish we had the same treatment from CIC.

Public service cuts hit Ottawa hardest... CIC cuts 79 positions :(

that's why the CPC-M slowed down in processing the parents sponsorship

Does anyone know how long after medical results have been received it may take for the LVO to ask for further tests? We had the medicals done about a month ago and eCAS was updated to "medical results received" in early June. Just trying to figure out what to expect....(although that is admittedly a bit like looking into a crystal ball...). Our hope is, of course, that the passport request will be the next step, but it could be more tests....

if e-cas is updated with "medical results received" then it means that you passed medicals and won't be asked for additional tests...

ARE YOU SURE???!!! Sorry, don't mean to imply that I am doubting you...just very surprised and happy. So, in other words, next step would be to wait for the request for the passport? I suppose the timing of that will depend on the country quota, etc. Our LVO is Vienna. Based on Teri's experience, all went very fast there. But Vienna is responsible for a number of countries, which may mean that the speed of processing does not just depend on the embassy, but also on the visa quota assigned to the country of the applicant. Did I get that right?
Thanks so much!

Puffy,
Nobody really knows how long after that. At least in Vienna you have Teri's precedent.

My mom's e-cas has been update to "medical results...received" since May 11. However, they did not start processing her case. The status is still "Application Received." It is Ottawa though.
